Georgia Tech Homecoming 2013

My Instagram photo from this weekend,
taking a selfie in my roomie's sunglasses
I loved this weekend. It was my college's (Georgia Tech) homecoming weekend, and my first homecoming game as an alum. It felt strangely beautiful to be back on campus. I didn't quite feel like a visitor, but it also doesn't really feel like my home anymore since I've graduated.

I pass campus just about every day, so it wasn't a huge deal to physically be on campus. What really made going back feel strange was being a graduate and seeing friends I hadn't seen since graduating in May. I attended a few tailgates and got to see many familiar faces, although I still didn't get to see everyone I wanted! Everyone was in such a great mood, which made the day even better. Oh, and Georgia Tech beat Pitt, #fabulous #goJackets. See some photos from the day below.

As a college student, I typically dressed up for games. But I decided to go with a toned down look on Saturday. White dress, cowgirl boots, statement necklace.

I'm slightly obsessed with my newest statement necklace.
It completed my homecoming look :)

Have you ever been to a college homecoming game?

  4. I just got a job at my undergrad college and I think it's going to be so weird being back on campus after 2 years. Sounds like you had a fun weekend!

  15. If my team was better, I would feel more incline to attend a homecoming game, but I'm going to attend next year's since it will hopefully be my last. It looks like your weekend was great! And you're a knockout in that dress, ma'am. I love it!
