Burr, it's getting chilly in Atlanta. When I checked the weather app on my phone yesterday morning and saw the temperatures in the 30's…I knew I needed to layer. ATLiens know the power of layering because Atlanta weather is so moody. While it was freezing when I left for work, it wouldn't be surprising if the temperatures were in the 70's when I got off. Crazy, I know. But I've learned to expect it, and I've learned to dress in layers so that I can take off clothing and add on clothing as necessary.
I wore a tank top under my red and white tank. Then wore a denim long sleeved button up over that. Then, wore a thick black and white checkered blazer over all of that. Nice and warm.
Layering also offers the opportunity for adding in color and really making an outfit more dimensional. I also layered my jewelry by wearing a medium length pearl necklace and a gold chain.

Cute layers. You can never go wrong with throwing a denim shirt under or over anything!

I love layering! But in CA its just starting to get cold enough to wear a light jacket, so definitely not all of the way into layering season yet!
