Obsessed with this {black leather skirt}

I was browsing the Kate Spade Saturday clothing section and it was love at first sight.

What's fall fashion without some leather? I loveeee this black leather skirt.

It's the perfect length, fit, and color. I'd wear this with just about any top and with or without tights.

Red Lobster review and {giveaway}

Who loves Red Lobster? I love Red Lobster!

Y'all, I had the super awesome opportunity to attend a blogger dinner at the Red Lobster on Lavista Road in Tucker, GA. The service, food, and overall experience was just incredible!

These buffalo chicken fingers were a table favorite!

They gave us great appetizers and their super famous biscuits!

I invited my roommate, Alexandria, to come with & she had a great time too. Right now, they're doing the Endless Shrimp promotion, so that's what we got to enjoy, yum!

It was an overall really fun, fun night & I have never been more impressed by a chain restaurant. Thank you for the great dinner, Red Lobster!

I met Michael Skolnik!

I got to meet Michael Skolnik! If you don't know, he's the Editor-In-Chief for Global Grind and he's the Political Director to Russell Simmons. I've read his work and seen him speak on CNN several times, but never in person.

Last week, I went to an event with my friend Kendall at the Carter Center in Atlanta called CNN Dialogues. It's part of a series of panel discussions on topics dealing with race, religion, and social change. I love hearing the opinions of others and hearing great discussions on important issues (that's the political nerd in me). So I loved this event!

This CNN Dialogue was titled: Modern Marchers: Lessons from the Front Lines of Social Change

I'll let you know when the next one is happening in Atlanta!

Obsessed with {these J. Crew sweaters}

I can feel a chill in the air, meaning fall is coming soon!

Sorry for all you summer lovers, but fall is my 2nd favorite season (after winter). Fall fashion is the best!

Eating in ATL {Gordon Biersch}

Gordon Biersch is more than a fun place for beer lovers. The food is well priced & very delicious too. And with tons of dining room space (at both the Midtown & Buckhead locations), it's also the perfect place for dinner parties. I've been for an event and this was my second time going for an early dinner.

I caught up with my friend Alison after work on Monday and we met at Gordon Biersch. We both love the food, the open outdoor porch environment, and the parking options. We went to the Midtown location and had a great time people watching on Peachtree while eating our meals, haha!
