SkyView Atlanta review

A few months ago I blogged about a new Ferris wheel attraction, SkyView Atlanta, that was coming to downtown Atlanta. I finally got to ride the Ferris wheel over the city this past weekend and it was beautiful!

If you love lights and the city at night, definitely go at night. The lines are longer at night - we waited for 45 min. to an hour - but it's so worth it. Midway through waiting in line, you also take a photo that they put a fun skyline view in the background for (and you can purchase your photo at the end of the ride).

The Ferris wheel's lighting changes colors, which made my photos look even better.

Check out some views I had from the top :)

Two panoramic shots I took (click the images to make them larger)

It was the perfect way to end my Saturday and the best date night :)

I definitely recommend SkyView Atlanta for tourists and locals. If you love ATL like I do, you're always looking for a new view of the city.

  5. I love finding other Atlanta bloggers ! I've seen the wheel, but i had no clue whether it was permanent or just an attraction. I guess I need to go check it out now ! Happy I found your blog, it has a very positive vibe :)

  7. Omg!!! Am so scared of rides, Long ago i was at Alton towers, Omg!!! It was hell on earth. I went on Obilivion and Nemesis. I vowed never in my life would i go on such rides. Have always feared this rides from my young age huh?! I believe if you got balls why not go on these rides? Have got fear for heights but this looks Amazing. If it's a slow ride then i would love to ride.

I have never been to Atlanta and would love to visit, I have an aunt and cousins in the greater area yet have never made the trip, it sounds like you love it, perhaps I should make time to visit.

I will have to keep my eyes on what next you will postor inspire.

Many thanks for your comment and enjoy more of what your city has to offer; my husband's been to Atlanta and loved it. I'd love to go sometime myself but we are busy school teachers.
