Happy Labor Day! I love holidays because they're a great opportunity to catch up on homework, respond to emails, spend time with family & friends, or do the little things I usually don't have time for - like do it yourself projects. Here's an idea for a DIY project:
I bought a really cute denim-like dress on sale from Urban Outfitters (similar to the one on the model), but the top half was wayyy too tight. Instead of throwing it to the back of my closet, I decided to cut it into a high waisted skirt. I love the color and material and it made for the perfect length skirt for church, interviews, and any other formal occasion.
Enjoy! <3

DeleteGreat idea, love...I don't think you can go wrong with a high waisted skirt! And that is a good money saver too, just revamp something that doesn't fit right.

DeleteLove that you made it into something useful still! I hate it when I buy something and it doesn't work out. This dress sure makes one cute skirt though :)
